Git on linux

show current branch in terminal

source /etc/bash_completion.d/git-prompt

  • source /etc/bash_completion.d/git (for Ubuntu 12.04 or less)
  • source /etc/bash_completion.d/git-prompt (for Ubuntu 13.04 and higher)
